The Dental Clinic is conveniently located in the Stable Area Administration Building and open throughout the season at Canterbury Park.

Overseen by Dr. Scott Rake, a Thoroughbred owner and breeder, the clinic is open three days a week and serves the entire backstretch community. In addition to Dr. Rake, Dr. Mackensie McBeain and Dr. Ayesha Downs also volunteer their time and skills performing such duties as filling cavities and fitting dentures.

An important initiative of the clinic is preventive dental care. This care not only addresses dental health but the overall health of the individual. To that end, dental hygienists provide thorough teeth cleanings each and every week of the meet.
