The Minnesota HBPA on Saturday awarded its inaugural lifetime achievement award to Curt Sampson and Randy Sampson for their lifetime of service in supporting and promoting the best interest of Minnesota Thoroughbred racing.
Minnesota HBPA President Scott Rake said, “There is no better way to understand what this award symbolizes than by looking at its recipients. In fact, they were and are so essential to Minnesota Thoroughbred racing that in the years to follow this lifetime achievement award will be named in their honor: The Sampson Lifetime Achievement Award.”
