According to the StarTribune, Doran Cos. will be building 600 luxury apartments on a 26-acre parcel of land on Canterbury Park property. It is expected to be just the first step of a larger, mixed use development. Currently, Canterbury Park has 110 acres in out-lots that could be developed. Although not the primary focus, these new apartments will bring new potential racing fans to the area in the way of tenants and workers.
